It was likely the final period of the day, and I was a sixth-grader, still discovering the wonders of the world. We had just been introduced to the magic of pens, and I was as enamored with them as a child with a cherished toy. My classmates and I were all captivated by the novelty of writing with these new tools.
Our teacher had tasked us with a unique assignment: crafting an autobiography from the perspective of a shoe. As I delved into the world of words, I became as engrossed as a novelist in their own creation.
